To ensure that your visit to Sydney and the experience of the ACTA Conference is as enjoyable as possible, here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions which will hopefully provide you with all the information you need.

We encourage you to read through this before you attend. Please contact us if you have a question that we haven’t answered.

Where is the Conference venue?

The Conference will be held at Manly Pacific, 55 N Steyne Manly, Sydney, 2095 New South Wales.

Vaccination requirements?

Please follow the health advice provided by government.

Is there parking at the venue?

Secure underground parking and valet services are available at Manly Pacific hotel. Charges apply and parking is subject to availability.

What is the dress code for the conference?

Dress code is smart casual.

What time does the Registration Desk open?

The Registration Desk will be open from 07:30 – 17:30.

How do I gain entry to the Conference sessions?

All delegates and exhibitors will be provided with a name badge, which will give you access to all sessions. Please ensure you always wear your name badge and scan QR codes to show attendance - this supports us in measuring session popularity.

I have special dietary requirements – will I be served the correct food?

If you have advised Ke. Creative Events of any special dietary requirements (you are able to do so in the registration form), the caterers at each function have been provided these. A special buffet table will be set during the day for special diets. If you are unsure, please see the staff at the Registration Desk.

Will there be internet available?

Free wireless internet access is available for the duration of the Conference. The password and login details will be provided via the Conference App and displayed at the Registration Desk.

PLEASE NOTE:  The internet is not to be used to view or download any illicit material, including movies, music etc.

Where can I find a list of delegates who are attending the conference?

A delegate list will be available to view on the Conference App. This is also a great opportunity to connect with industry colleagues - update your profile, add your social media links and start connecting once the App is released.Printed delegate lists will not be available at the conference. If you selected privacy required when completing your registration form, your name will not appear on the list.

How will I know if there have been any changes to the program?

Any changes to the conference program will be announced during housekeeping notices each morning. There will also be important alerts made via the Conference App. You may also check with Ke. Creative Events staff at the Registration Desk.

Mobile Phones

As a courtesy to other delegates, please ensure that all mobile phones are turned off or in silent mode during all sessions.

Photographs, videos, recording of sessions

Delegates are not permitted to use any type of camera or recording device at any of the sessions unless written permission has been obtained from the relevant speaker.

We have employed a photographer and videographer to capture highlights from the event. Please advise the Ke. Creative team if you would prefer your image is not used in marketing and ACTA Conference and Membership communications.

Accident or loss

The members of the Conference Planning Committee and Ke. Creative accept no liability for personal accident or loss, or damage suffered by any participant, accompanying person, invited observer or any other person by whatever means. Neither do we accept liability for any equipment nor software brought to the Conference by delegates, speakers, sponsors or any other party.

Please protect your personal property. Do not leave laptops, cameras, and other valuable items unsecured. Be conscious of individuals who appear out of place and do not wear a conference name badge. Advise Ke. Creative Staff if this does occur.
